Rosa Linda Garcia Solano, 68, of Central Falls, Rhode Island, gracefully departed this world on February 10, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family in the comfort of her home.
Rosa entered this world on June 28, 1955, in La Romana, Dominican Republic, as the cherished daughter of Ramona Solano and Juan Paredes.
Rosa fiercely loved and adored her children and grandchildren. She instilled in them strong values, guiding them to lead lives enriched with love and kindness. Her children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for them.
Beyond her immediate family, Rosa's compassionate heart extended to the many children she cared for as a longtime childcare provider. Her home was a haven of warmth and nourishment, where doors were always open, and countless young lives found comfort under her loving care.
Rosa's life was a tapestry woven with beautiful memories, notably her love for hosting vibrant gatherings. Whether it was a lively party filled with delicious foods and joyful music, or one of her famed themed celebrations, Rosa had a remarkable talent for bringing diverse people together to revel in the joy of life. Happiness was her language, evident in every thread of the intricate fabric of her existence.
Rosa is survived by her children, Esther Garcia, Christina Garcia, and Antonio Garcia, her son-in-law Hugo Rodriguez and grandchildren Xavian Johnson, Olivia Del Villar and Skyla Rodriguez.
In Rosa's passing, we mourn the loss of a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, whose legacy of love and light will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who were touched by her presence. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory be a blessing to us all.
